These two magnificent lofty brick minars formed part of the old mosque which vanished long ago. But the ground chambers of the mosque are still extant. They may have been originally plastered and ornamented with tiles, traces of which can still be seen. There are spiral stairs in the body of the minars to reach the balconies above. Their style and material suggest the date to the close of the reign of Sultan Mahumud Shah I (A.D. 1458-1511) whose brick works in Ahmedabad and Champaner are well known.
