Jami Masjid

Jami Masjid was constructed in A.D. 1325; it is the largest old mosque in Gujarat. It was built from the remains of Hindu and Jaina temples as per evidence of its pillars in the prayer hall. This mosque has three mihrabs; it contains two hundred pillars and seventy six pilasters, over which its flat roof is laid. The corridors around the court are roofed with flat roofed aisle in the front, behind is the series of 21 domes in line.
