This website was launched by Dr. M. Nambirajan, Regional Director (West) on March 31, 2017

It belongs to the early 12th century A.D. and is one of the two specimens of magnificent architecture. remains of the other are lying nearby. These torana must have been part of a temple which disappeared in oblivion. The pillars are carved exquisitely supported with a capital decorated with triangular arch.
